Flexible use of strip welding machines

The more dynamic today's steel markets are, the ambitious is it to serve the changing demands also time near and economically.
Dependent on raw material and line requirements the today's processes require different technologies, in order to achieve optimal product quality and highest economy.
During a live presentation given in Germany at the end of July customers and trade press had a first hand look at the modified machine and the process results. OXYTECHNIK showed, how flexible existing Kontinumat® strip welding machines can become equipped on different technologies, without tremendous change of the basis machine.
For demonstration, we exchanged the MAG welding head at a deliver-ready strip welding machine for stain-less steel against a Nd:YAG laser head.
With this variable concept we want to make a contribution for increased flexibility and larger investment security.
