25th July 2005 - Coil joining concept of KONTINUMAT® machines: Compact, modular and flexible equippable strip welding machines
In order to demonstrate the possibility to up-date and re-equip KONTINUMAT® strip welding machines, for example to use welding processes such as Nd:YAG-Laser and CO2-Laser, a MIG/MAG strip welding machine ready for delivery was re-tooled with a Nd:YAG-Laser, without modifying the basic machine.

5th August 2005 - Upgrade your coil joining process to laser speed
Oxytechnik has successfully demonstrated that Kontinumat® strip welders can be upgraded from inert-gas shielded or mixed gas welding (MIG/MAGC) to Nd:YAG laser welding without having to change anything about the basic machine or the technical adjustments.
